The houseboat is a premium double-decker vessel designed for high-capacity luxury cruising in the Kerala backwaters

Exterior and Structure

Tiered Architecture: The boat features a massive black hull with a two-storey wooden structure. The upper level includes a covered observation deck with stainless steel safety railings and potted palm accents for a "sky-lounge" feel.

Modern Glazing: Large, full-length windows on the lower deck offer panoramic views while maintaining a sleek, black-on-gold aesthetic.

Traditional Accents: The roof is finished with traditional thatched material, and the prow (front) is decorated with ceremonial yellow and red garlands, signifying a premium service.

Main Lounge and Dining Area

Expansive Dining Space: The lower deck features a massive, polished wood table capable of seating approximately 16 guests simultaneously, making it ideal for large groups or corporate events.

Traditional Relaxation: The lounge area includes classic wooden seats and high-backed wooden chairs with white decorative lace covers.

Modern Amenities: The interior is fully equipped with wall-mounted electric fans, a large flat-screen TV mounted on a decorative yellow-textured wall, and a professional reception-style counter.

Boutique Facilities

Sophisticated Wash Areas: The vessel includes a dedicated wash station with dual modern white vessel sinks set on a dark granite countertop. The backsplash features stylised maple leaf patterns against a light wood-grain tile.

Contemporary Bathrooms: En-suite facilities are finished with modern white ceramic fixtures, including floor-mounted toilets and pedestal sinks. The walls are lined with high-contrast black and white marble-patterned tiles.

Open-Air Corridors: Wide, red-finished wooden walkways run along the sides of the vessel, protected by horizontal wooden slat railings, allowing for breezy transit between sections.

Timing & Schedule

Overnight Cruise Timings:

Check-in: 12:00 PM | Check-out: 09:00 AM (Following day)

Cruising Hours: As per government regulations, houseboats are permitted to cruise from 12:00 PM to 05:30 PM with a break for lunch. The boat will anchor safely by the banks for the night and complete a short morning cruise from 07:30 AM to 09:00 AM.

Day Cruise Timings:

Check-in: 11:00 AM / 11:30 AM | Check-out: 05:00 PM / 05:30 PM (Same day)

Cruising Hours: Continuous cruising throughout the day, stopping only for the anchor lunch break (approximately 1 hour)

Inclusions & Food Policy

Overnight Cruise Meals: Includes Welcome Drink, Traditional Lunch, Evening Tea/Snacks, Dinner, and Breakfast.

Day Cruise Meals: Includes Welcome Drink, Traditional Lunch, and Evening Tea/Snacks.

Menu Options: Both Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian options are prepared on-board by our private chef. Please notify us of any specific dietary restrictions or allergies at least 48 hours prior to arrival.

Air Conditioning (AC) Timings

Premium / Luxury Packages (Day Cruise & Overnight):

Full-Time AC: Air conditioning is fully operational and available 24/7 throughout the entire duration of the journey in both the glass lounge/dining areas and the bedrooms.

Deluxe Packages:

Day Cruise: No air conditioning is provided on board. Guests can enjoy the natural, refreshing breeze through the open-style layout of the decks and windows.

Overnight Stay: Air conditioning is operational exclusively in the bedrooms during the night from 09:00 PM to 06:00 AM only. No AC is provided in the common lounge or dining areas

Large Vessels & Double-Decker Houseboats (Above 3 Bedrooms with Upper Deck Hall):

Alternating AC Policy: For large-capacity vessels featuring an upper-deck hall, the air conditioning operates on an alternating system depending on the vehicle's generator capacity. AC will be available either in the main hall or in the bedrooms at a time.

Typically, the AC will cool the upper deck hall during daytime dining/conference hours and will be switched over to the bedrooms for nighttime comfort.

House Rules & Safety Guidelines

Safety First: Life jackets are provided on board. Please follow the captain and crew instructions at all times. Swimming in the backwaters without supervision is strictly prohibited.

Eco-Friendly Cruise: We respect nature. The disposal of plastics, bottles, or trash into the water is strictly prohibited.

Identification: All guests (including international travellers) must present a valid government-issued ID card or passport upon boarding.

Capacity Limits: The maximum number of guests allowed on board for Day Cruises and Overnight stays must strictly adhere to the capacity agreed upon during booking. Extra charges apply for additional guests.
